Partner with a school(s) from these countries, and once your partnership is established, you’ll be eligible to apply for a grant to fund joint working and reciprocal visits once global travel restrictions are lifted.

Schools who wish to apply with a country in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region should contact in advance of submitting a funding application. UK schools will be matched only with the British Council list of MENA schools. Once communication is established, they will be eligible to apply for a grant to fund joint working and participate in a facilitated visit, subject to the relaxation of global travel restrictions.

* Please note, our grants cannot be used to support travel to and from countries marked with an asterix. Partnerships with these countries are best suited to schools who are happy to collaborate in a virtual capacity only.

Check out our country themes page for the latest updates from participating countries and an overview of areas they may be interested in exploring as part of their partnership working.
