This activity will help you pupils explore the relationship between Covid-19 and poverty.
It was created by The Economist Educational Foundation and supported by the Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning programme, from the British Council and UK aid.
Students will develop skills in speaking, listening, creativity and critical thinking through considering questions like: what is poverty? Does every person in poverty face the same difficulties? And what impact has the pandemic had on people in poverty? This resource was developed in collaboration with the Economist Educational Foundation.
There are two versions - standard (aimed at ages 9-11) and advanced (aimed at ages 11-15)
